Flight Training Alliance and Airbus expand A220 training capacity in Asia-Pacific with first full-flight simulator deployment in Singapore

Bangkok, Thailand, September 1, 2026 Flight Training Alliance (FTA), a joint venture between Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) and CAE – and the Airbus Authorized Training Provider for global A220 training solutions – is collaborating with Airbus to establish an Airbus A220 training capability in Singapore. As part of the agreement, a new CAE 7000XR full-flight simulator will be deployed at the Airbus Asia Training Centre (AATC) in Singapore in 2027.
